Construction colleagues get together to celebrate awards success
Last week construction colleagues from two of our developments in Bath & North East Somerset gathered at Mulberry Park to celebrate Site Managers Alan Mapston and Lee Watts winning the highly coveted NHBC (National House Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality Award.
The results were announced earlier in June, recognising site managers from across the country for their leadership, technical expertise, health and safety approach and attention to detail. Alan and Lee are among 450 out of 10,000 site managers from across the country to be recognised with the Quality Award this year.
Development colleagues, contractors and suppliers came together to celebrate this success and fantastic work of our teams at Mulberry Park in Bath and Woodland View at Hygge Park, in Keynsham.
Even the torrential rain couldn’t dampen their spirits as NHBC Regional Director for the South West, Nick Cunningham presented Alan and Lee with the awards and everyone went on to enjoy tasty BBQ food and warm up with delicious hot drinks.
Both Alan and Lee thanked site colleagues for their support and fantastic team effort.
Curo Construction Operations Director, Simon Collins, said: “We’re really proud of Alan and Lee, as well as their Assistant Site Managers – Grant Wells, Lee Clarke and Steve Weymouth. We also appreciate the ongoing support of the contractor site teams for their contribution in us achieving this accolade. This shows the passion and dedication our construction teams put into building our homes to high standards while also keeping colleagues, suppliers and contractors safe on site.”
