Meet the two newest members of our Curo team
We are so pleased to welcome two new starters to the team in Giusy Lusby and Hayley Zaple, joining the company as Sales Negotiators.
The pair not only bring CVs that boast extensive property sales experience, but, more importantly, have a set of attitudes and principles that marry up to Curo’s ethos.
Giusy, who has been working at a large property developer for circa 10 years, will be our Sales Negotiator for Keyford Meadows, Frome, which is set to launch this weekend! 28th – 30th April. Hayley, a former area sales manager with over 19 years’ experience within the world of construction, will be joining the team at Eaton Park in Yatton.
At Curo, we believe in building homes for good. This means creating beautiful homes appropriate for modern living, building strong communities, having neighbourhoods designed for a healthy life and reinvesting our profits to deliver our social purpose. For us, it’s fundamental that our customer service underpins these values.
In fact, our positive customer service reputation was a big pull for Giusy, making Curo the perfect destination for her to showcase her skills.
She said: “I knew of Curo before I joined and was aware of how important customers and staff are, but I have been blown away by their work ethics, values and goals. What is so refreshing is the way they prioritise people over anything else.
“As customer service has always been my number one priority, I knew I would be able to easily transfer my skills and things I have learnt within the industry to ensure customer service is of the highest standard.”
Giusy added: “I feel that I have lots of experience and skills that I can bring to Curo and also feel that they will help me develop new skills that will enable me to be the best I can be in my new role.
“I can’t wait for my new journey and I think I speak for everyone here when I say we all love working for Curo.”
As for Hayley, you could say her family is construction mad. She met her husband within the industry, and after having two children, continued to work part-time for a major housebuilder.
The couple would often discuss the number of units they were building and how it’s often all about numbers rather than quality homes. She was so pleased when her husband started to work for a smaller house builder where he had more time to build homes that he was proud of. Whilst obviously delighted, she had a slight sense of envy and a burning desire to get back working full-time.
She said: “One of my lovely ex-colleagues who I used to work with got in touch. She was working at Curo and explained how different they were – what their values were, what they stood for – and that there was a job vacancy.
“I thought ‘yes! Finally, I can use all my customer service skills and put my industry knowledge to good use with a company that cares.’
Hayley continued: “I cannot wait to get stuck into my new site at Eaton Park in Yatton and deliver that customer experience that all house buyers deserve.
“Just going on that house-buying journey with them and finally handing over the keys to their lovely new home is the best part. I can’t wait!”
We are delighted to welcome Giusy and Hayley to Curo and cannot wait to see the impact they will have in their roles.
