Beautiful homes in desirable locations…from a business with a social purpose

We’re a local housing association and housebuilder working to deliver high quality homes for sale and affordable housing across South West England.

We’re proud to be a business with social objectives. That’s why, instead of having shareholders, we re-invest all our profits to achieve our purpose – to create Homes for Good. We’re an established and trusted business that prioritises great customer service. We stay involved in the neighbourhoods we build for the long term. Our profits are re-invested into affordable housing and the local community, and our customers tell us they like to know that their money is making a positive contribution to society.

We can help make your homeownership dream a reality.
If you think it’s impossible to buy a home on the open market, we can help. With Shared Ownership from Curo, you benefit from an affordable way to own a home, with all the advantages this brings. We have a wide selection of beautiful new build and resale Shared Ownership homes and can help you find your perfect home whether you’re looking for a small apartment or a large family house.

Great Customer Service.
From the moment you enquire about a Curo home to the day we hand you the keys to your front door and beyond – you can count on our friendly and reliable customer service. Our Sales Advisors are on hand to explain the process of buying a home through Shared Ownership and support you every step of the way.

Why choose Shared Ownership?

Smaller deposit and monthly mortgage payments
Because you’re only buying part of your home, you’ll need a much smaller deposit (usually as little as 5% of the share you’re purchasing) and your monthly mortgage repayments will be lower too.

It’s your home sweet home
With Shared Ownership, you enjoy all the rights (and responsibilities) of homeownership. You can stay in your home as long as you want, sell it, or buy more shares when you can afford it. You can also decorate your home to suit your taste, without asking permission from Curo. You’ll only need to let us know if you want to make bigger changes, such as adding an extension.

You’re investing in your future
You’re making a first step onto the homeownership ladder and investing your money in property.

It’s more affordable than you think
With Shared Ownership, your monthly mortgage payments, service charges and rent often add up to less than what you’d normally pay to rent the same home privately.
